      “MARTIN-At his home, 323 Monterey street, Pomona, Calif., Sunday, November 4, 1956, Clarence L. Martin, aged 66 years, after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Martin delivered coal for Tappan & Brooks Coal company before moving to California where he was a grounds caretaker at Pomona college. He was a member of Mohegan Lodge, 29, I. O. O. F. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Martin, and four sons, Earl R. of Pomona, Leon of Lincoln, Ill., Lloyd K. of Pomona, and Richard Martin of Beverly Hills, and nine grandchildren. Interment was made in Pomona Mausoleum, Pomona, California.”
