Brennan, 62, Route 104-B, Texas, died Thursday, June 2, 1983 in the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, Syracuse. Born March 2, 1921 in the Town of Boylston, son of Thomas and Rose Barber Brennan, he attended schools in that section and served in World War II in the South Pacific. He married Sylvia Secor on July 7, 1948 at Adams. She died July 16, 1970. He married Mrs. Rita Martin on May 26, 1976. He had worked for A & P stores and then the IGA warehouse in Syracuse. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rita Brennan; a son, Raymond D., Syracuse; seven daughters, Mrs. Sharon Bremm, Lacona, Mrs. Sheila Wallace, Syracuse, Mrs. Kathy Newcomb, Port Ontario, Mrs. Elaine Gerdon, in Florida, Mrs. Sylvia Krupke, Mattydale, Mrs. Jacquelyn Newton, Maple View, and Mrs. Victoria Waggoner, Pulaski; six step-sons, William Martin, Pulaski, James Martin and David Martin, of Syracuse, Robert Martin, Richland, Rickey Martin, Watertown, and Clarence Martin, Mexico; two step-daughters, Mrs. Linda Trumble, Altmar, and Mrs. Sally Brooks, Mexico; several grandchildren; a brother, George Brennan, Sandy Creek, and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Yerdon, North Syracuse. The funeral for Mr. Brennan was held Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with Rev. George H. Brownell, pastor of the Richland Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Pulaski Village Cemetery.
