Newspaper Obituary - Sunday, April 25, 2010 Syracuse Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Julia Gawronski, 76, a resident of Richland since 1950, died Thursday at her home on County Route 48. Julia was born March 16, 1934, in Poland, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Major Gawronski. She graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1954, and she graduated from Morrisville ATC in 1956. Julia was employed by the Onondaga County Health Department from 1956 until 1976 as a food service director. She also worked as a home health aide for many years. Julia was a member of Christ Our Light Parish, Pulaski, and its Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving: one niece, Stella King of Morrisville; two nephews, Edward Gawronski of California, and Leo Gawronski of Brazil; and one sister-in-law, Henrietta Gawronski of California. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Our Light Parish, Pulaski. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am., prior to the funeral, at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Julia Gawronski, 76, a resident of Richland since 1950, died Thursday at her home on County Route 48. Julia was born March 16, 1934, in Poland, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Major Gawronski. She graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1954, and she graduated from Morrisville ATC in 1956.
