Newspaper Article - Wednesday, November 28, 1906 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Manwarren District - Dr. Van Duyn, of Syracuse, was called to see Seymour Martin, last week. He pronounced the disease to be a new one as yet unnamed, but similar in _ respects to spinal meningitis and had treated a few cases of the kind. - After several weeks of intense suffering Seymour Martin passed away Saturday night at midnight. He leaves a wife, two sons, Nelson and William, and a daughter, Ruth, to mourn the loss of a kind, indulgent husband and father.

Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 5, 1906 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Manwarren District - Seymour Martin, whose death was published in last week's issue, was born in the town of Mexico fifty-one years ago and had resided nearly all his life in this vicinity. He was one of a family of eleven children and this is the first break in the family with the exceptions of the father and mother. The following are left to mourn the loss of a loving brother: Steven Martin, of Fulton; James, of Syracuse; William, of Richland, Wesley, of New London, Ohio; Fred, of Mexico; Mrs. Mary Hammicker, of Colosse; Mrs. Nellie Gore, of Syracuse; Mrs. Rose Vedder, Mrs. Dora Baker, of Fulton, and Mrs. Josephine Murray, of Adams. The sympathy of the community is extended to the family in this dark hour, and we all feel that it is a loss to the neighborhood. - Card of Thanks - To our friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us during the sickness and death of our beloved husband and father, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.
