Newspaper Obituary - Monday, January 24, 2000 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - B. Raymond Nemier Carrier Corp. Retiree - B. Raymond Nemier, 73, of 4730 Salina Street, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, Syracuse. Born January 11, 1927, in Boylston, son of Bert and Myrtle Palmateer Nemier, he attended Sandy Creek schools and lived in Boylston until moving to Pulaski in 1958. He married Vivian Piersall on February 16, 1968. She died June 26, 1979. Mr. Nemier worked at Carrier Corp., Syracuse, for 23 years, retiring in 1988. He previously been employed at Crocker Ford Tractor Sales from 1957 to 1965, and also worked on the family farm in Boylston for many years. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Sharon Hilliker, Pulaski; two sisters, Ruth Stassi and Isabelle Hall, both of Syracuse; a brother, Stanley, Endicott, and a granddaughter. A stepson, David Martin, died February 1, 1975. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Brett Charsky officiating. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, 2700 Chestnut Parkway, Chester, Pennsylvania 19013.
