Dorothy Catherman, 77, of Lyons, died Saturday at Auburn Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.
Mrs. Catherman was born in East Rochester and lived in the Syracuse area most of her life, moving to Savannah three years ago.
Surviving are: six sons, Lester Blauvelt of Lacona, Olin Johnston of Warners, Olson Johnston of Fulton, Royce Johnston of Smithville, N.C., Roland Johnson of Lyons, and Ronald Johnson of Four Oaks, N.C.; four daughters, Ellen Washburn of Lyons, Evelyn Arliss of Montezuma, Elaine Eggerling of Gilbert, Ariz., and Edna Frutis of Lakeland, Fla.; two brothers, Jesse Brownell of Waterloo, and Edwin Brownell of Tuscon, Ariz.; 48 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be in North Rose Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, West Church Street, Savannah.
