    • Lorenzo Dow “Rennie” Martin - October 5, 1884 - September 24, 1968. Son of William and Susanna Streeter Martin. Husband of Iva Mae Bonner Martin (married November 26, 1908 in Orwell, New York) & Ruth Lillian Schaefer Martin (married May 26, 1928 in Stillwater, Oswego County, New York.)
      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 3, 1968 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Lorenzo Martin Dies in Pulaski - Lorenzo D. Martin, 83, of Orwell, died September 24, 1968 in the Evergreens Nursing Home, Pulaski, after a long illness. He was born in Harrisville on October 5, 1884, son of William and Susan Streeter Martin and attended the Harrisville schools. In 1926 he married Miss Ruth Schaefer. She died in October 1960. About 15 years ago he retired as foreman with the New York State Conservation Department. Earlier he had worked in various area lumber mills. Surviving are five sons, Francis H., Robert D. and Rennie L., all of Orwell, Everett of North Syracuse and Neil R. of Mattydale; six daughters, Mrs. John (Edith) Brazier and Mrs. Nora Wart both of Pulaski; Miss Pauline Martin, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Town, Parish; Mrs. Mary Ball, Syracuse, and Mrs. Richard (Ina) Yarman, Central Square; 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Foster funeral home, the Rev. Ray Rowley, pastor of the Orwell Union Church, officiating. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Orwell.
