      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, January 6, 1955 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Donald Wart Dies in Oswego - Donald Wart, 47, a resident of Orwell, died January 3, 1955 in the Oswego County Sanatorium. He had been ill for about six months and entered the sanatorium about a week before he died. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Martin Wart; six children, Earl, Irene, Jane, James, Ina and Allen, residing at home; two brothers, Elvin Wart, Orwell and Wayland Wart, Palmyra, and two step-sisters, Mrs. Roy (Mildred) DeBeare, Lyons and Mrs. Kenneth (Tressa) Ostrander, Pulaski. - Born in Richland - Mr. Wart was born in Richland November 7, 1907, son of Leon and Ina Parish Wart. He was graduated from Parish High school in 1927. He married Miss Nora Martin November 15, 1930. He was employed for several years by the Pulaski National Bank and later engaged in farming. He operated the Francis Drake farm on the Richland-Orwell road until he became ill. Mr. Wart was a member of the Orwell Union church. - Funeral Thursday - A private prayer service will be held at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Pulaski, followed by the funeral at 2 at Orwell Methodist church. The Rev. Wesley Baker will officiate. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
