      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 7, 1967 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Held for Mrs. Crandall - Mabel E. Crandall, 68, of Pine Meadows Road, R. D. 1, Altmar, died Sunday morning, December 3, at the House of Good Samaritan Hospital, Watertown, where she had been a patient for nine days. Mrs. Crandall was born August 18, 1889, at Ellisburg, the daughter of Dwane and Estella Martin Wilson. She was educated in the Altmar schools and married on August 20, 1915, to Harrison N. Crandall of Williamstown. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Chicago, Illinois, where Mrs. Crandall was a switchboard operator. In 1982, the Crandall's retired, moving to their present home from Chicago. She is survived by her husband, Harrison N. Crandall, and one son, Kenneth J. Crandall of Ledgard, Connecticut; two sisters, Mrs. Audro Roser of R. D. 1, Altmar, and Mrs. Gregory (Evelyn) Cieslicki, Syracuse; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 5, at the Foster Funeral Home, with Rev. Adelbert Edwards, pastor of Pine Meadows Church officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery.
