Services for William E. Nelson, 77, of Oswego RD 8 who died Monday at Oswego Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kozlowski Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scriba.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 153 W. Bridge St.
Born in Rochester, Mr. Nelson lived in Scriba 50 years. He retired from Ontario Oil Co.
Mr. Nelson was a member and chaplain of the Scriba Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys; a daughter, Sheila Sampson of Hannibal; a son, Harold of Pulaski; a brother, Philip of Oswego; two sisters, Grace Trull of Rochester and Mrs. Albert Rivers of Oswego; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
