    • Newspaper Obituary - December 19, 1917 Wilkes-Barre Record - Death Of Mrs. Emma Edwards - Mrs. Emma Edwards, until quite recently a resident of this place, died on Sunday forenoon at the home of her daughter, J. B. Satien, at Altlantic City, of heart trouble, at the advance age of 77 years. Deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Satien; Edward and George Armitage of Colorado, and Harry and George Armitage of this place. The remains were brought to the home of the deceased's son George, the well known hardware merchant of 124 East Main Street, arriving yesterday, from where the funeral, which will be strickly private, will take place this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with services at the house, to be conducted by Rev. J. H. Griffiths of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery. Friends are asked to omit flowers. Mrs. Edwards was a native of England and came to this borough upward of thirty five years ago and was well and favorably known to a majority of the townspeople.
