  Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 15, 1979 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Eunice M. Lyon, age 80 of 9096 South Main Street, Sandy Creek died Sunday evening, shortly after being admitted to House of Good Samaritan in Watertown. She was born November 15, 1898, at Lansdown, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Charles and Betty McClary. She moved to Pulaski and attended Pulaski Academy. She married Ernest D. Lyon, February 25, 1940. They resided in Watertown and later North Plainfield, New Jersey. Later they returned to Pulaski, in 1946, and have resided in Sandy Creek since 1962. She was employed by LA Witheral Stores in Syracuse and later Gaffney Jewelry Store in Pulaski. She was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ernest D. Lyon, one nephew, Charles McClary, of Rochester. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. The Reverend Frank Bennett, retired Baptist Minister of Hastings, officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday evening, seven to nine.
