- Charles Young Obituary
Charles E. Young passed away on September 20, 2024 at the age of 69, after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family in the comfort of his own home.
Charles was a devoted Husband, Father, Papa and GG-Pa. Charles was the man who would help you with anything that was needed. His favorite hobby was taking rides on his motorcycle with his loving wife Donna, to various destinations. One of his favorite jokes to tell his daughter was that he would never be a "Harley Snob".
Charles enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, from taking them fishing to getting ice cream.
Charles was predeceased by his parents; Raymond and Helen Young, In Laws Robert and Jeanette Groff. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Donna (Groff) Young, Children; Angela (Jason) Homman, Adam (Savannah) Young,; Grandchildren; Jeanette, Jason, Jr, Ericabella, Maddy, JR, Charlie, GG-Baby Carolyn, Brother Robert (Luann) Young, and two sisters, Jean and Pat.
Charles worked for Kodak for about 25 years with many achievements in his time there. He also worked at Little Trees after moving back to Henderson.
Charles' guidance, love and determination will be greatly missed.
A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
