Jody Sadler
August 14, 2021
Jody L. Sadler, 58, of Amboy, NY; passed away peacefully at her home on August 14, 2021.
Jody is survived by her mother, Jeanette Bridenbaugh; her fiancé, Joseph Hasto and his sons Chad and David; her daughters, Stephanie and Stacy Potter; her grandchildren, Mason and Juliet Eastman; her brother, Bill LaCross; and her sister, Lauri Cook-Lamica. She is predeceased by her father, John Thayer.
Jody was born January 6th, 1963 in Syracuse, NY to Jeanette Sadler and John Thayer. She graduated from North Syracuse Highschool in 1981. She later graduated from SUNY Jefferson in 1996 with a degree in Paralegal Law and graduated from SUNY Empire State College in 1999 with a degree in Computer Information Systems concentrating in Business Management & Finance. Jody worked at the law office of Bernhard Molldrem for over 20 years as a paralegal. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, nature, photography, spending time with friends and family, and listening to her fiancé, Joe, play guitar. Jody was also an animal, environmental, and human rights activist.
Jody will always be remembered as a beautiful, strong, compassionate, and kind spirited woman. Anyone who knew Jody knew she was selfless and pure of heart. She would want us all to comfort each other and celebrate all the beautiful ways she used her energy and life to impact the people around her. We are consoled by the many people she inspired throughout her journey. We feel that she lives on in the ways she touched our lives. We are forever grateful for the time spent with her, however, too brief.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main St., Parish, NY. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
