Wife of Samuel Clystal Stewart (married November 14, 1883 in Redfield Township, Oswego County, New York) & George Sheldon Loomis (married April 9, 1914 at Camden, Oneida County, New York.)       Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 9, 1928 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Margaret Loomis - In the early part of December, Mrs. Margaret Loomis went to Syracuse, to pass several weeks in the home of her nephew, William Lyons, Jr. A few days ago she suffered an attack of bronchitis, from which she seemed to recover. Saturday afternoon she was stricken with pneumonia and passed away Sunday evening, February 5, at 6 o'clock. She was brought back to her home Monday, where the funeral was conducted by Rev. A. H. Giuliano Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock and burial made in Evergreen Cemetery. Margaret Lyons, a daughter of John and Ann Lyons, was born in the town of Redfield, August 26, 1850. She was united in marriage with Samuel Stuart [sic], November 14, 1883. The most of their married life was passed in Redfield. They came to Orwell to live the year before Mr. Stuart died. A few years after Mr. Stuart’s death she was united in marriage with George S. Loomis whom she survived several years. Her many friends were saddened when the word came of her sudden departure. Mrs. Loomis is survived by one sister, Mrs. H. F. Newton, of Orwell; two brothers, Edward Lyons, of Orwell, and William Lyons, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and by one niece and three nephews.
