- Obituary of Dorothy J. Lacelle
Dorothy J. Lacelle, age 76, resident of Orwell for the past 40 years, passed away Saturday at Bishop Commons in Oswego. Dorothy was born October 19, 1945, in Syracuse, the daughter of Leonard and Mabel Prosser Yaddow. She graduated from Syracuse High Schools. Dorothy was married to James Lacelle on June 26, 1982, and he passed away October 12, 2021. She was a member of the Vorea Community Church in Orwell. She also volunteered for Samaritan Purse through Billy Graham and traveled to Rwanda for Operation Christmas Child.
Surviving are her caregivers, Rob and Debbie Martin of Orwell, friends Karen Yerdon, Ted and Patty Beattie, Patty Jennings, Karin Nemier, Sandy Levack, Brian Levack and family, Bob and Lorraine Stawicki, brother in-law, John (Eleanor) Lacelle of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Samaritan’s Purse Intl., Operation Christmas Child, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
