    • Newspaper Obituary - (Source Unknown) - Mitchell G. Stewart January 18, 2010 Mitchell Gene Stewart, 56, of Otisco, died Monday at home surrounded by his family. Born in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Stella Stewart. He was a graduate of Tully High School. Mitchell was employed by OCRRA for 30 years, and he was dedicated to helping out on Bloom Dairy Farm for over 40 years. He was an avid Nascar fan, and he loved riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; four daughters, Stacy (Steve) Stojanov of Syracuse, Jaime Stewart of Otisco, Victoria (Jeff) Spoor of Baldwinsville and Kathleen Stewart of Otisco; two sisters, Caroline Davies of Manlius and Pamela Scudo of Nedrow; two brothers, Gordon (Joan) Stewart of Cortland and Michael (Chris) Stewart of Otisco; five grandchildren, Emily, Nathaniel, Avery, Tyler and Jordan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, LaFayette. Burial will be private in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 2584 Field Lane.
