Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of the glue of the family Donnie Patterson on November 13th 2022 @ 12:51 PM.
Donnie resided in Sandy Creek alongside his loving wife of 23 years & family. Donnie owned & operated D&J Trucking for 44 years. Donnie enjoyed riding his Harley, having his grandsons, working on motorcycles with his son Dillon, spending his time at his family owned bar JD’s Tavern & Grill, watching NASCAR races & was a die hard Kansas City Chiefs fan. He is the oldest of 6 children.
Donnie is survived by his wife Jane Patterson, his son’s Lynn Patterson (Crystal P.), Jason Patterson (Mandy P.), Alan Patterson (Amber P.), Dillon Patterson (Mariah H.), Liam Patterson (Jacob G.) & Robbie Patterson, his daughter Heather Patterson & his multiple grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Arelene Patterson, his brothers Daniel Patterson, Darryl Patterson (Tammy P.), Dean Patterson & his sister Darlene Lynch, along with multiple family members & friends. Donnie is Pre-Deceased by his daughter Brianna Harvey, his father Donald Patterson & his brother Dennis Patterson.
Services will be held on the same day at the same time as his daughter Brianna’s services, November 19th 2022. Calling hours will be held from 12-2 PM, Funeral Services will be held from 2-3 PM & there will be a celebration of life for both Brianna & Donnie at JD’s Tavern & Grill from 3 PM to whatever time the family feels like.
