Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 2, 1918 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Charles E. Cole - On Monday evening, December 24th, occurred the death of Charles E. Cole, who lived west of this village and a mile north of the Bethel church. Mr. Cole was born in LeRay, Jefferson County, in 1835. He lived on the farm where he was born in LeRay, Jefferson County, in to [sic] Watertown, residing there until twenty-two years ago when he moved to the farm where he died. Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. S. J. Hewitt, of this village and three grandchildren, Mrs. Ethel Wilbur, of this village; Mrs. Leon Peo, of Cape Vincent; Miss Marion McPherson who resided with her grandparents. Funeral services were held at the home, Friday afternoon, at two o'clock, Rev. Frank H. Ferris, of Pulaski officiating. Burial in Pulaski cemetery.
