    • Nathan Stewart (William, William), born Jun 22, 1745, in Stonington, Conn., married there May 1, 1768, Barbara Palmer, daughter of William Palmer. He bought out the family rights in the old homestead on Stewart Hill and built a house which was afterward occupied by his son Edward and then by Denison Stewart, according to Judge R.A. Wheeler in his history of Stonington. His wife Barbara died Mar 15, 1805, aged 55, and he died Nov 1, 1813, aged 69, according to their tombstones in the Stonington cemetery. Children born in Stonington.
