    • Lexus H. Weaver, age 8, resident of Greenwood, DE, formerly of Pulaski, passed away Monday, January 16th in Delaware. Lexus was born April 22, 2014, in Syracuse the daughter of Edward and Courtney Cole Weaver. Lexus was a third grader at Phyllis Wheatly Elementary School in Bridgeville, DE. She loved caring for her special baby dolls, Luna and Luca. She always wore a big hair bow to match her even bigger personality. Lexus loved all things glitter, 4-wheeling with Uncle Tim, and tacos! She also loved her cell phone because she could text her family and take lots of pictures.

      Surviving, are her parents, Edward and Courtney Weaver, her big brother and best friend, Edward Weaver, Jr. “Eddie”, her big sissy, Kaydence Weaver “Kay-d”, and little brother, Preston Weaver. Grandparents, Freeman Cole and Rachelle Christman, Kimberlee Barnes, Patrick and Malinda Barnes, Sr., Edward Fithian, Jr., Starr Nutting, Charles and Victoria Craft, and Theodore Lacelle. Great-grandparents, Freeman and Gloria Cole, Sr., JoAnn Nutting, and Mary Fithian, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lexus was predeceased by great-grandpas, Richard Weaver and Bruce Nutting.

      Lexus lost her long battle to acute flaccid myelitis caused by a virus she contracted in August 2016. Lexus endured many surgeries and countless procedures with contributed to her warrior personality, her sass, wit, and spiciness. Lex was able to light up any room she entered. Even if you met her for a small moment, you would love her for a lifetime. Lex had a passion for medical services and often aspired to be a police officer. Through her courage, she had the will to overcome many obstacles. Lexus touched many people’s lives and wanted everyone to live life with the same integrity.

      Funeral services will be held, 2p.m., Monday, January 23rd at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the funeral.
