Our beloved, Richard, born on July 28, 1922, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013.
Fresno native and longtime resident, Richard recently celebrated his 70th Aniversary with childhood sweetheart, Genave Lassley Waring. World War II veteran and architect by trade, Richard started his own business, AAA Engineering in 1957. In all, he practiced architectural engineering in the community for 54 years. Richard enjoyed the comfort of living with his family in the home he designed and built by brother-in-law, Gerald Lassley, until 3 days before his passing.
"He will be greatly missed by all who loved him."
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Genave Waring; David L. Waring and his wife, Linda; Dennis R. Waring and his wife, Ginni; grandchildren, Vanessa and Vincent Waring, and Nicole and Daniel Rogers; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Payton Rogers.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1:30 pm.
