Notes - Oneida, Jan. 18.-Mrs. George Allen, 74. died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Wickens, 132 James street, Sunday. She was born in Oswego. April 10. 1857, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Bloodgood. She had made her home with her daughter for several years. She leaves two daughter, Mra. Wickens. with whom she lived, and Mrs. Harry Denecia, Gouverneur; three sons, George, Durhamville; Bert, Camden, and Leon of Mils city; one brother. James Bloodgood, Harrisvillle, Mich.
Dau. of Albert D. & Eliza Smith Bloodgood of Oswego Co., NY. She married in 1877 to George W. Allen, mother of Bert, Julia, Alice & Frederick. She had a son Leon out of Wedlock, who was raised by her husband as his own. She was buried here in her dau. Alice Wicken's in-laws plot and like her husband has no stone.
