    • Newspaper Obituary - November 9, 1977 Pulaski Democrat - Mrs. Grace Lyon, 97, Spring Brook Apartments, widow of Burnice Lyon died October 30, 1977, in the Andrew Michaud Nursing Home, Fulton. Funeral services were held November 2 at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Bennett, retired minister, officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski. Surviving is a son, Ernest, Sandy Creek. Born Oct. 20, 1880, at Pulaski, daughter of Ethel and Melissa Damon Stewart, she attended Town of Richland District schools and married Burnice Lyon July 28, 1900, at Sandy Creek. He died in April, 1958. Mrs. Lyon worked for the Tollner Box Factory, Pulaski, for years and later for the Benson Paper Mill here. She was a member of the Pulaski Baptist Church and was a 60-year member and past Noble Grand of Rising Sun Rebekah Lodge 149 of Pulaski.

      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, October 31, 1977 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Mrs. Grace Lyon, 97, of Springbrook Apartments, died Sunday afternoon in the Andrew Michaud Nursing Home, Fulton, after a long illness. She was born October 20, 1880 in Pulaski, daughter of Ethel and Melissa Damon Stewart and attended the Town of Richland district schools. She married Burnice Lyon on July 28, 1900 and resided all her married life here. He died in April 1958. She was employed by the Tollner Box Factory here until it closed and later by the Benson Paper Mill. She was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church and a 60-year member of the Rising Sun Rebekah Lodge 149. She was a past noble grand of the lodge. Surviving is a son, Ernest, of Sandy Creek. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Foster Hax Funeral Home, Rev. Frank Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
