Newspaper Obituary - Monday, September 12, 1983 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mr. Robert J. Schroeder, 29, of Route 104, Mexico, died Thursday, September 1 at Upstate Medical Center after a long illness. Mr. Schroeder was a life resident of Mexico. He was a former carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Sharon; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Schroeder of Mexico; a daughter Bobby Lee; a brother, Richard of Pulaski; two sisters, Beverly J. Schroeder of Mexico and Mona Norris of Hastings. Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 3 in the South Richland Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Richard A. Schroeder, 61, of County Route 48, Richland, died Monday at his home. He was born January 9, 1943, in Pulaski, the son of Richard and Dorothy Spaulsbury Schroeder. He was a life resident of the Richland, Orwell, Pulaski area. He attended Sandy Creek School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960-62 and married Erma Potter on February 22, 1964. He was employed by Schoeller Technical Paper for 39 years, retiring in 2003.
Surviving are his wife, Erma R.; one son, Ritchie Schroeder, and one daughter, Kathleen Watson, both of Richland; his mother, Dorothy Schroeder of Mexico; two sisters, Beverly Schroeder of Mexico and Mona Norris of Hastings; and 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Richard and one brother, Robert.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
