Colleen "Kitty" Rogers, 56 of Sandy Creek passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at University Hospital in Syracuse, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kitty was born August 6, 1967 in Syracuse to William and Virginia (Dumas) Teller. She attended Sandy Creek Central High School. Kitty married Wendell G. Rogers on November 8, 2013. Kitty was a teachers assistant at Oswego County BOCES for 23 years. She enjoyed her dogs, her plants, and especially sitting on their deck watching hummingbirds with Wendell.
Kitty lost Wendell to cancer on January 30
2023. Surviving are her parents, her daughters Andrea and Heather Caufield, grandchildren Brandon Caufield, Layne Spearance, Robert Bristol Jr., Rebecca Bristol, and Isabella Bristol; siblings; her twin sister Cathleen Patterson (Jeff), Chuck Teller (Sandi), Robin McGrew (John), Clinton Teller and John St Germain. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her dogs Zeak and Sissy. She was predeceased by Scott Teller, William Teller Jr. and Leon Dumas.
There are no services at this time. Donations may be made in her honor to Autism Speaks. Kitty is now resting in the forearms of the love of her life.
