David was born September 19, 1949, the son of Betty Lynn Coon of Pulaski, NY, and the late Bert Coon. Surviving are his wife Geri Dunning-Coon of Cato; a son Aaron (Lana) Dunning of Cato; five daughters, Kelly Dunning of Cato, Chrissy Dunning of Cato, Wendy (Dan) Cutri, Lisa (Eric Vierow) Bowen, and Carrie Bowen, all of Nedrow, NY; a brother John (Linda) Coon of Cicero, NY; a sister Linda (Dean) Burdick of Central Square, NY; six grandchildren, Zachary, Christopher, Emily, Kelsey, Ashlyn and Kalie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Jewell Funeral Home, 13164 South St., Cato. A memorial service will be held at the family home, 2541 Dalton Rd., Cato, on Thursday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for a memorial garden.
