- Anne M. Vextor, age 92, resident of Pulaski since 1940, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. Anne was born March 15, 1922 in Albion, the daughter of Ralph and Chloe Phillips Blount. She graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1940. Anne was married to Walter Vextor, and he passed away August 6, 1966. She was employed by Phillips Jeep in Pulaski, Texaco gas station in Sandy Creek, Rome Cable, and Rome Airbase. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Besanson of Pulaski and Linda Crandall of Sandy Creek; two sisters, Joyce Kehoe of North Carolina and Pauline Snyder of Booneville; four grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Friday at the Foster Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with a spring burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. Donations may be made to the CNY Kidney Foundation or the Ringgold Fire Department in Pulaski.
