    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 9, 1861 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In this town, on the 30th ult., of pulmonary consumption, Charlotte L., wife of David Trumbull, aged 33 years. Her sickness was long and painful, yet borne with great patience and resignation, although surrounded by a rising family who had looked to her for aid in their helplessness and childhood, to which she bid adieu, committing them to Him who gave. Her end was that of a Christian, saying to her weeping husband and friends, "There is rock at the bottom," as she passed away to her rest in sure and certain prospect of a glorious immortality. L.
