Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 23, 1925 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Lombard, 80, is Dead at Pulaski - The last rites for Mrs. Leora Lombard, 80, were held Friday afternoon, July 17, from the family home in the town of Albion at which the officiating clergyman was the Rev. Ernest H. Scott, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Pulaski, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Lehigh district. Mrs. Lombard was a lifelong resident of Albion, eastern section of Oswego County, where she was born April 4, 1845. Her death occurred Tuesday morning, July 14, 1925, following an illness of several weeks, although she had been in poor health for a long time. She was numbered among the old residents of the town of Albion and had passed practically her entire life on a farm in that section. Her husband, Albert Lombard, died about ten years ago. The only near surviving relative is a son, Pearl Lombard, who operates the farm where his mother had lived many years.
