Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 28, 1957 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orla Whaley, 70, Richland, Dies - Services for Orla E. Whaley, 70, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the home of his son, Leonard at Westdale. The Rev. E. R. Holley, of the Pilgrim Holiness Chapel, Richland, officiated. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery at Pulaski. Mr. Whaley died Friday afternoon at his son's home at Westdale following a brief illness. Surviving besides his son, Leonard, are three other sons, Stanley and Irvin Whaley, both of Richland and Delbert of Pulaski and a daughter, Mrs. Reva Hilton of Pulaski. His wife, Maude French Whaley, died in 1949. Mr. Whaley was born May 10, 1887, in the Town of Albion, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Prosser Whaley.
