Newspaper Obituary - Monday, November 23 2009 Syracuse Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Elizabeth "Pearl" Bontomase, 93, life resident of Pulaski, died Saturday at Pontiac Nursing Home in Oswego. Pearl was born May 2, 1916, in Pulaski. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1933. Pearl married Anthony Bontomase on February 19, 1939. She was employed by Richland Lumber Company for several years. She was also a musician for her entire life. Pearl also owned and operated the Wagon- Wheel Dance Hall and Trailer Park. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski, and the Musicians Union in Watertown. She did benefits for the March of Dimes and also played and sang on the radio. Pearl was also a member of several bowling and golf leagues. She was a published poet and designed stained glass. Surviving: her husband, Anthony; one son, David (Shonnie) Bontomase of Pulaski; two daughters, Julie (Tyrone) Larson of Ashville, North Carolina, and Jaynee R. Bontomase of Maryland; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski. Calling hours will be noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the funeral.

Elizabeth "Pearl" Bontomase, 93, life resident of Pulaski, died Saturday at Pontiac Nursing Home in Oswego. Pearl was born May 2, 1916, in Pulaski. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1933.
