He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Syracuse; retired New York Central Railroad conductor. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Stewart; daughters Roy Maines of Syracuse, Mrs Warren Bruce of Old Greenwhich, Conn.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Fred Fox of Watkins Glen; stepsons, William Harvey of Elmira, Edward Harvey of Little Falls, N. J.; One grandchild; two great-grandchilren. Body at Brown Funeral Home, Watkins Glen. Calling hours: Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Funeral there Monday at 11 a. m., the Rev. David Durham, the Rev. Mr. Titus. Fayetville Cemetery.
