- Gladys M. Spink, 85, of Hogsback Road,
Altmar, a native of Mexico, died Wednesday at the House of the Good Samaritan,
Watertown.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home,
Pulaski. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours
will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Surviving are
two sons, Robert J., Altmar, and Richard W., Pulaski; four daughters, Lillian
Hutchinson, Pulaski, Esther Kimpel, North Syracuse, Doris Pike and Retha Spink,
both of Altmar; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; a
great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Clarence and James Dawley, both of San
Antonio, Texas; and a sister, Beatrice Graf, Covington, La.
Born Sept. 24,
1907, in Mexico, daughter of James and Mary Youngs Dawley, she attended Mexico
district schools. She married Glen E. Spink Oct. 30, 1926, in Camden. He died
July 6, 1967.
Mrs. Spink lived in the Altmar area 70 years, where she had
been a member of the Ricard Grange.
