    • Kathleen M. Quackenbush, age 69, resident of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Kathleen was born October 20, 1953, in Syracuse, the daughter of Tracy Updike and Virginia Whitney Mason (Earl). She attended Manlius Schools and graduated from Bryant & Stratton College. She was employed by Crouse-Hinds in Syracuse, and prior to that Frazer Jones in Solvay. Kathleen was married to Rodney Quackenbush on June 26, 2010. She was a member of the Sandy Creek Wesleyan Church.

      Kathleen had a huge love for all animals, especially the dogs she had raised (Josh Rene', Charlie, And Titan) and she was a member of Defenders of Wildlife.

      Surviving are her husband, Rodney of Pulaski, one daughter, Darbie Kloster (Eric Campbell) of Camillus, three stepdaughters, Kathy Payne and Christal Watters, both of Pulaski and Dawn Alnutt of Clay, brothers Roger Mason of Weedsport and George Mason of Marcellus, six grandchildren and she was Gigi to her great-granddaughter Sophia. She is also survived by a special niece, Jeanne Ferguson and several other nieces and nephews as well as special friends Valerie and Bob Cole. Kathleen was predeceased by her son, Tobey Hart in 2020.

      A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 21st at the Sandy Creek Wesleyan Church, 6224 US Rt 11, Sandy Creek, NY 13145, with burial at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
