- October 24, 2004 Lyle P. Halsey, 85, of Pulaski, died Sunday in Fulton. He is survived by his wife Jean; one son, Ira; one stepson; and three stepdaughters; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Calling hours are noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Lyle P. Halsey, 85, of 83 Atkinson Road, died Sunday in A.L Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton.
Mr. Halsey owned and operated a dairy farm for 30 years, retiring in 1995.
He was a member of the Primitive Cemetery Board, Mexico, and the Dairy Herd Improvement Association and had resided in Mexico until moving to Pulaski in 1962.
Born May 2, 1919, in Mexico, son of Wales and Elizabeth Pickens Halsey, he attended Mexico schools.
He married Jean Jensen in November 1962.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Ira L., and a stepson, Frederick Jensen, both of Pulaski; three stepdaughters, Carol Quencer, Chaumont, Shirley Hanley, Fulton, and Marion Jensen, Pulaski, seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
A sister, Ruth E. Blumer, died Feb. 12, 1997. Two brothers, Carl and John, also died before him.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wiltse officiating. Burial will be in Primitive Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
