Donald C. Scott, (90), of Altmar, New York passed away on January 16, 2024, surrounded by family.
Don was born to James M. Scott and Zelpha G. Deane on October 6, 1933, in Syracuse, NY. He served in the United States Air Force as an air traffic controller for over 20 years. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his loving wife Joyce, and their family. Don was a life member of VFW Post 136, Altmar and a member of American Legion Post 1435, Altmar for 53 years.
Don is survived by his children, Donald (Pamela) Scott, Jr, of Springerville, AZ, David (Cherri) Scott of Phoenix, AZ, Susan (Jim) Grabowski of Youngsville, NC, Debra Scott, of Altmar, NY, Catherine (Bruce) Derr, of Kennesaw, GA, Michael (Wendy) Scott of Buda, TX, Russell (Michelle) Scott, of Altmar, NY, and Tim (Gwen) Scott of Altmar, NY. As well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Don was predeceased by his wife of 63years, Joyce A. (LeBlanc) Scott and his son Steven Scott.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate a life-well lived in the spring. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
