    • Newspaper Obituary - Sunday, October 13, 2013 Post-Standard - Syracuse, NY - Thomas B. Stewart - October 10, 2013 - Thomas B. Stewart , 85, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at home. Thomas was born on May 26, 1928, Utica, New York to the late Theodore Stewart and the late Barbara (Burch) Stewart Schuster. Upon graduation from high school, Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Army. Following his honorable discharge, he worked at General Electric in Syracuse in heavy military, enjoying a 40 year career until his retirement. He was also a 57-year member of Pulaski Lodge 415 F & AM. Thomas is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Rena I. (Nichele) Stewart; and his children, James T. Stewart, and Michael J. Stewart. No prior visitation. His graveside service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Assumption Cemetery with burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pulaski Lodge 415 F & AM or the CNY SPCA in Mattydale.
