Services for Paul C. Guyette, 66, of 8330 Demott St., who was found dead Monday in a heavily wooded area in Parishville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Pulaski.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 8192 Harwood Drive.
Mr. Guyette was missing since Saturday, and was apparently hunting rocks when he became ill.
A native of Diamond, Mr. Guyette lived in Lacona since 1948. He was self-employed for the past 20 years in the trucking business, and previously owned and operated Guyette Fuel Co., which he sold to Agway. Mr. Guyette was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed rock collecting.
Surviving are his wife, the former Joyce Weisenburger; three daughters, Sandra Hughs of Sandy Creek, Sherry Batson of Philadelphia and Coleen Guyette of Williamsburg, Va.; a son, Kirk of Sandy Creek; a sister, Marjorie Smithers of Watertown; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
