Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 6, 1999 The Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Wayne C. Wallis, 51, of Krebs Road, Pulaski, died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital. He was a life resident of the Pulaski area. He was a logger and a former construction worker. His wife, the former Sheila Bartlett, died in 1972. A daughter, Lisa Wallis, died in 1968. Survivors: A daughter, Stephanie Smith of Palermo; a son, Kevin of Syracuse; his mother, Olive Wallis of Pulaski; three sisters, Marge Haynes of Liverpool, Viola Skotniski of Pulaski and Myrtle Winklestone of Mexico; two brothers, George of Hastings and Dick of Sandy Pond; four grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial, South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood, Calling hours, 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
