    • Dale R. Haynes April 10, 2011 Dale R. Haynes, 76, of Hastings, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011, at his home. Born in Rome, he had lived in Pulaski, Liverpool and Florida before moving to Hastings about 12 years ago. He had been an Oswego County Deputy Sheriff for 11 years and was a self-employed upholsterer when he retired. Dale was a member of the Oswego County Fraternal Order of Police. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, the former Marjorie Wallis; five daughters, Deborah Kelly of Milton, FL, Suzanne Nolet of Fall River, MA, Donna Vogt of Hastings, Lori Miller of Pulaski and Jodi Lynn Spence of Dickinson, TX; two sons, Daniel of Austin, TX, and Edgar of Vero Beach, FL; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Haynes of Cicero; three sisters, Judy Smith of Utica, and Carol Buchalla and Linda Haynes, both of Cortland; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011, at WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 631 S. Main St., Central Square, with calling hours from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., before the service. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the family.
