Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 24, 1979 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Quenton E. Mosher, 58, of 7528 Main Street, Richland, died Saturday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Syracuse. Born in Texas, New York, he was the son of George and Ruth Wilcox Mosher. He married Eileen Jeffers on February 16, 1942 in Watertown. He served with the Navy in World War II, and in 1957 moved to Pulaski, where he was employed by the P & K Machine Shop as a machinist. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, Jerry, with the Navy in Little Creek, Virginia, Sgt. Frederick S., with the Marines in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Rick F., with the Navy, in Little Creek, Virginia, Timothy E. of Williamstown and Terry D. at home; three daughters, Mrs. Sue J. Mattice of Lacona, Jeanne F. Nutting of Woodville and Cheryl S. Mosher at home; and 14 grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, the Rev. Gerald H. Brownell officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery, with full military honors. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today.
