- Edward W Daniels, 81, of Pulaski died Thursday at his home. He was born in Altmar on July 18, 1933, son of the late Edward and Mildred Holcomb Daniels. He attended APW Schools. He joined the Air Force from 1951 to 1971 serving in Korea, Germany, Vietnam, Thailand, and Labrador in weapon field, retiring in 1971 after 20 years of service. He went to work at Felix Schoeller Paper as a guard. He worked as a Lab Supervisor for 19 years, retiring in 1989 due to ill health.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, the former Frieda Rupracht; one son, Brian (Gloria); two daughters, Deborah (Ernie) and Kim (Bill), 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great-grandson.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday from the Harter Funeral Home 2983 W Main St. Parish, NY. Spring Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Dougway, NY. Friends may call from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home, prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edward's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association , the American Heart Association or Oswego County Hospice.
