- Steve E. Woods, Sr. Obituary
Steve E. Woods Sr., “Woodzy”, age 59, longtime resident of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, September 21st. Steve was born September 19, 1965, in Long Beach, CA, the son of Leon A. and Marcia J. Holmes Woods. Steve was a hard worker, he worked as a landscaper and handyman, always eager to help out other people. He loved his life on the Salmon River, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
Surviving are two children, Steve Woods, Jr. and Nathaniel Woods both of Williamstown, former spouse, Melissa Woods, and her children Eleanor and Jessica, two grandsons, Wyatt and Nash Woods, his sister, Gloria Potts of West Chazy, NY, brothers, Ralph and Leon (Elizabeth) Woods, both of Pulaski, David Woods of California, and John Woods of Oswego and many nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his siblings, Robert, Carolyn, Debbie and Richard.
A calling hour will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, September 30th at The Church of Jesus Christ, 53 Nelson Ave., Pulaski. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m., with a reception and light refreshments to follow. Services in care of Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
