Notes - Mary B. Schouten, age 91, resident of Pulaski, passed away Monday at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. Mary was born January 7, 1933, in Pennellville, NY, the daughter of Addison and Gladys Peterson Stearns. She graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1950. Mary married Glenn Schouten on August 29, 1952, and he passed away in February 2017. She was employed by Lamson Corp in Syracuse for 30 years. Mary was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Clay, NY
Surviving are her grandson, Ryan Schouten of Watertown and great-grandson, Bryan Schouten of Watertown, and good friend, Debra (Mark) Vaughn of Copenhagen. Mary was predeceased by her two sons, Todd Schouten in 2016 and Russell Schouten in 2020.
A memorial service will be held 12pm, Wednesday, November 20th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY with burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. A calling hour will be held from 11am to noon prior to the funeral.
