- Dorothy P. Templeton Obituary
Dorothy P. Templeton, age, 91, longtime resident of Pulaski and Sandy Creek, passed away Wednesday at The Cottages in Cicero. Dorothy was born November 21, 1933, in Northfield, VT, the daughter of Edward and Frances Sayah Plunkett. Dorothy graduated from Northfield High School in 1950. On July 25, 1953, Dorothy married her husband of 42-years, Max W. Templeton, who passed away on June 15, 1995. She was employed as a counselor with Madison County and Oswego Mental Health for over 19 years and had previously been employed by Samaritan Medical Center as an ER Nurse. Dorothy was a member of Christ Our Light Parish in Pulaski and an active member of the Elms Golf Club.
Dorothy was predeceased by her daughter Carol Templeton of Hoofddorp, NL in 2022. Surviving are her children, Vicki Templeton of St. Petersburg, FL, David N. Templeton of Kenosha, WI, and Judy (Gary) Templeton-Phillips of Pulaski, six grandchildren, Jeremy (Chelsea) Jones, Aubrey (Matt) Dorrett, Becky (Clay) T. Cornell, Rachel (George) T. Samaras, Neal (Jackie) Templeton, and Jenifer (Jeb) Fleming and nine great-grandchildren.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date with no services at this time. Arrangements in care of Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
