- Pulaski, Oct. 14 - Mrs. Lillian May Fancher Harris, long active in the local units of W.C.T.U., D.U.V. and the Methodist church died Sunday morning at the family home in the Centerville road after a short illness. She was born April 22, 1872, in the town of Hastings and was the daughter of Franklin M. and Mary A Chappell Fancer. Her father was one of the last Civil War survivors in the Pulaski area, and for many years she had been active in veteran organizations.
She was first married to Charles E. Bush in 1896 and married Arthur P. Harris in 1913. Besides Mr. Harris, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George Bennett and Mrs. James Hurd of Oswego, and Mrs. Edward Carl of Pulaski; three sons, Fred A., Clarence A. and Ray F. Bush, all of Pulaski; a step-daughter, Mrs. Arthur Blount of Hastings; a brother Frederick P. Fancher of Lebanon; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the family home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. W. A. Gardner, and burial will be in Hastings.
