- Ethel E. Hilton Obituary
Ethel E. Hilton, age 69, life resident of the Williamstown and Altmar area, passed away Monday, at St. Joseph’s Hospital with her family by her side. Ethel was born March 22, 1956, in Oswego, the daughter of Ward and Marion Britton Stevens. She was married to her husband of 45-years, James Hilton, on July 14, 1979. Ethel spent her life nurturing and caring for her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Ethel and her husband spent over 25-years caring for foster children. She enjoyed playing cards and dice and going to the casino. Ethel loved her flowers and enjoyed spending time tending her garden.
Surviving, are her husband, James Hilton of Williamstown, children, Rosemary (Ron) Oakes of Altmar, Monica (Chris) Krupa of Cato, Duane (Kendra) Hilton of Fulton, James (Stacie) Hilton, Jr. of Altmar, Jeremy (Lori) Hilton of Altmar, Jacquelyn (Keith) Lyboult of Cape Coral, FL, Kyle Hilton of Cayuga, Bianca (Richard) O’Bier of San Antonio, TX, Tony Hilton of Pulaski, Tressa (Rob) Schmeling of Tazewell, VA, and Missy (Chase) Perkins of Fort Riley, KS, siblings, Frieda, Mary, Deral, Bruce, Bill, Carol and Roxanne, 30 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2p.m., Thursday, April 3rd, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours will be held from noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, prior to the funeral.
