Ethel Kellogg, 94, of Camillus, passed away Monday at home. Born in Richland, NY, she loved volunteering and serving at Unity Kitchen. She was proud of her support of ministries serving Native Americans. She was a member, scripture reader and part of the Christian education group at Fairmount Community Church, UCC. Ethel could often be found in the church library, reading from the collection of religious books.
Even as her health declined, Ethel strived to attend church as often as she could and attend communion every month. Ethel was a faithful, energetic and persistent advocate for mission activities.
She is survived by two sons, David A. and Richard J., and two daughters, Betty M. Kennedy and Wendy J. English.
Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee St., village of Camillus.
Services are noon Tuesday at Fairmount Community Church, UCC. Private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
