Notes - Evelyn G. Preske, 87, of Watson Rd., North Syracuse, NY, died Monday in the Rosewood, Syracuse, NY. Born in Richland, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Ryder) MacBride. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survived by two daughters, Diane (Bryan) Hills of Jamesville, NY, Kathleen (Richard) Lancy of Mexico, NY; and one son, Timothy (Susan) Preske of Camillus, NY; one sister, Ethel Kellogg of Camillus, NY; and two brothers, James N. MacBride of Rochester, NY, Robert MacBride of East Syracuse, NY; two grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, John J. Preske; one daughter, Marilyn Preske; one sister, Lillian Kellogg. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sears - Middleton - Jones Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, 209 North Main Street (Rt 11), North Syracuse. Interment will be Wednesday in St. Francis Cemetery, Marcellus.
